Before creating Vursaa, I was working as a nurse which basically meant I was always on the move. Some days I’d commute between three different locations, juggling shifts, paperwork, and my sanity.

My “system” was carrying two bags. One for lunch, one for work essentials. Then I’d get home and switch into mum mode.

Weekends were family adventures, playground trips, impromptu outings, which of course meant another bag, misplaced items, and a chaotic pre outing scramble.

If you’ve ever left the house with kids, you know they become starving the moment you lock the front door. There I was, lugging around a snacks-and-drinks bag, wishing everything could just fit in one place without looking like I was packing for a two week hike.

That’s when the idea for Vursaa began to form. Not as a “product,” but as a solution to real life The messy, busy, beautiful in-between moments of work, parenting, and everything life throws your way.

I didn’t just want a bag that held things. I wanted a bag that adapted. A bag that grew with me through shifts, school pickups, spontaneous plans, reinvention, and new chapters. Something that carried my life, not the other way around.

That vision became The Vursaa Original: one versatile, modular backpack designed for real people living real, ever-changing lives.
